The Innovative Percussion Pius Cheung PIUS5 Hard Marimba Mallets are hard high range mallets for ensemble or concerto playing. The Pius Cheung Series marimba mallets feature six models with rubber cores of varying hardness. Constructed on Rattan handles, each model is wrapped with a very unique alpaca-blend yarn that allows the player to produce great tone at extreme dynamic ranges from the utmost silky pianissimo to heavy fortissimo with minimal effort.
