This unidirectional, resonating head microphone specializes in sub-low frequencies with a tailored frequency response of 20–2k Hz. With a low-impedance 250-ohm output, the Moon Mic provides a smooth, controlled signal that blends effortlessly into any live or studio setup—often eliminating the need for EQ, compression, pads, or phantom power. Whether used solo or blended with other microphones, the Moon Mic helps you reclaim the low-end detail that traditional mics often miss.
At the heart of the design is an 8-inch natural fiber and stainless steel weighted diaphragm paired with a dynamic moving coil and custom passive filter. This large resonating surface captures hard-to-retrieve tonal frequencies with clarity and authority. Placement is simple and flexible: position the mic 1/2″–2″ from the drum head, closer to the rim for higher frequencies or toward the center for maximum low-end punch.
