The Adams PVA92 is the receiver for the PVA31N vibraphone pedal arm. This threads through the black dampener box and is also held in place with a nylon lock nut. This part can break from excess force or mishandling, and once broken, your vibraphone pedal will not work. If you use Adams vibraphones in your school, we recommend having at least one of these as a backup. If you part has broken, carefully remove any portion that is still in the dampener box. This may be difficult if the threads have been damaged or the screw portion bent. Once the old part is removed, simply screw in the new part and add the nylon nut to keep it in place.
