The 18 Sound 15MB1000-8 is a high-performance 15-inch mid-low frequency woofer, engineered for low bass and significant mid-frequency extension. Ideal for compact reflex enclosures, two-way systems with 1.4″ – 2″ compression drivers, and stage monitoring, this woofer also excels in horn-loaded multiway systems. It features a 100 mm Interleaved Sandwich Voice coil (ISV) for balanced and linear motor assembly. The carbon fiber reinforced cellulose cone provides a smooth response and exceptional strength, while the Double Demodulating Rings (DDR) reduce intermodulation and harmonic distortion. The unique basket design improves heat dissipation, and its weather-protected construction makes it suitable for outdoor use.
